June 11, 2013 - June 11, 2014 one year “fascist black”

  One year completed today, June 11, from “black “ fascist way , imposed by the coalition of Samaras -Venizelos in the public broadcasting corporation ERT, firing at once 2,656 workers.
Today, at 12.30, was a rally in Klathmonos involving unions, associations and collectives. It followed a path to the Ministry of Finance, where the cleaners are .
Also at 7 pm, we call for a rally outside the Radiomegaro ERT, at Mesogeion av. in Agia Paraskevi.
Meanwhile, for the anniversary day of the “black”, is organized a 3-day and 4-day event on the radios throughout the region, from workers and Solidarity Free Self-Managed ERT, and citizens.
Also, protest rallies will be outside the Greek embassies of European countries.


Catapult IMF's report on Greece
Almost at the same time with the swearing in of the new ministers, released the report of the International Monetary Fund for Greece-a real catapult for the government and what had preached before the election. The IMF notes in its report that fatigue in adaptation ,is now evident that as the program progresses, the political commitment is seriously tested. Thus asking accelerating changes in the labor market, with the release of redundancies. The International Monetary Fund announces more cuts in minimum wage and the maturation.
"Greece is facing not only the troika. There is much to be done. We face a marathon" said the new Minister of Finance ,Gikas Hardouvelis.

Another suicide
Another personal tragedy, amid new crackdown of this government coalition: a 60 year old man,lost his life by falling on electrical lines in Omonia, at the time a train arrived. Temporarily were discontinued routes in Omonia and running routes Piraeus - Thisio and Attica - Kifissia.

Tomorrow the announcement of the Supreme Court for the cleaners
Tomorrow, Thursday will be announced  the decision of the Supreme Court for reinstatement of the cleaners, at the request of the Ministry of Finance to set aside the first instance judgment that vindicates the workers.


To strike the officials of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
Three days of protests ,announced today the administrators of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Meanwhile, a 24-hour strike and protest rally today has the Panhellenic Federation of University administrators, is stuck on the issue of availability. "The matter will be resolved tomorrow," argued earlier, the new minister, Mr Loverdos.

Earthquake in Karpathos
A strong earthquake of Richter 5 , recorded the morning at 6:53 am, in sea southeast of Karpathos. According to the Institute of Geodynamics, National Observatory, the focal depth was 93 km.

Threatened “with a padlock” , 89 Creative Entertainment Centers
Under the threat of padlock ,89 Creative Entertainment Centers across the country, ending in 2013, the funding through the NSRF and related resources have been reduced by 50%. Also 22% has reduced funding for centers that accommodate children with disabilities.

General Court of the European Union: There is no evidence against the Syrian International Islamic Bank
The cancellation of economic sanctions, freezing of funds, at the expense of the Syrian International Islamic Bank decided by the General Court of the European Union. The court took this decision because Brussels failed to demonstrate that there were illegal transactions by the Syrian regime through the bank.

Një vit mbushet sot, 11 qershor nga mbyllja fashiste e
Radiotelevizionit publik grek nga qeveria, duke lënë në rrugë brenda
një nate 2.656 punonjës.
Të mërkurën, në orën 12:30 në drekë u organizua një tubim në sheshin
Klafthmonos, me pjesmarrjen e sindikatave dhe marshim drejt ministrisë
së Financave.
Gjithashtu, në orën 19:00 pasdite organizohet një tubim jashtë
ndërtesës së ERT-it, në Agia Paraskevi.
Gjithashtu, në kuadrin e aktiviteteve për përvjetorin e mbylljes së
ERT-it, në të gjitha radiot lokale ERA organizohen aktivitete tre dhe
katër ditore nga punonjësit dhe të solidarizuarit e ERT-it të lirë e
të vetë menaxhuar, duke i bërë thirrje të gjithë qytetarëve, për të
festuar përpjekjen e përbashkët një vjeçare dhe për të deklaruar: Të
hapet përsëri ERT-i, të ruhet dhe në të ardhmen karakteri i tij i lirë
dhe i vetë menaxhuar dhe të vazhdojmë deri në fitoren përfundimtare.
Paralelisht, jashtë ambasadave greke në vendet evropiane do të
zhvillohen protesta.

Raporti i FMN-së katapultë për Greqinë

Pothuajse në të njëjtën kohë me betimin e ministrave të rinj është
publikuar raporti i Fondit Monetar Ndërkombëtar për Greqinë - një
katapultë e vërtetë për qeverinë dhe për ato që predikonte në fushatën
e zgjedhjeve të fundit.
FMN-ja thekson në raportin e saj se lodhja në përshtatjen e programit
tani është e qartë dhe se sa programi përparon, angazhimi politik
testohet seriozisht. Kështu, kërkon përshpejtimin e ndryshimeve në

Një tjetër vetëvrasje

Një tjetër tragjedi personale në mes të masave të ashpra të reja të
koalicionit qeveritar. Një burrë 60 vjeçar humbi jetën, duke rënë mbi
shinat e trenit elektrik në Omonia, në momentin që treni po afrohej në
stacion.

Në grevë nënpunësit e Universitetit Aristoteli të Selanikut

Protesta tre ditore nga sot njoftuan nënpunësit e administratës së

Ndërkohë, një grevë 24-orëshe dhe tubim proteste për sot ka njoftuar

Tërmet në Karpatho

Një tërmet i fuqishëm me madhësi 5 Richter është regjistruar në orën
06:53, në hapësirën detare në juglindje të Karpathos.

Kërcënohen me mbyllje 89 Qendra të Zbavitjes Krijuese të Fëmijve

Nën kërcënimin e mbylljes janë 89 Qendra të Argëtimit Krijues të
Fëmijëve në të gjithë vendin, pasi në vitin 2013 ka përfunduar
financimi nëpërmjet programeve komunitare ESPA dhe burimet financuese
janë ulur me 50%. Gjithashtu rreth 22% është ulur financimi për
qendrat që strehojnë fëmijët me aftësi të kufizuara.

Gjykata e Përgjithshme e Bashkimit Evropian: Nuk ka prova kundër
Bankës Ndërkombëtare Siriane Islamike

Anulimin e sanksioneve ekonomike, me ngrirjen e kapitaleve në kurriz
të Bankës Ndërkombëtare Siriane Islamike ka vendosur Gjykata e
Përgjithshme e Bashkimit Evropian. Gjykata e mori këtë vendim, për
shkak se Brukseli nuk arriti të ketë dokumente se ka pasur
transaksione të paligjshme nga regjimi sirian nëpërmjet bankës.

One year ago, the Greek government with the complicity of the Troika shut down ERT. But today is also the 1st anniversary of the resistance to the unmaking of independent public service broadcasting in Greece.



Today, Greece has a state broadcaster “NERIT” run by the Finance Ministry without editorial independence. And there is a truly public service broadcaster: ERTopen run by the former ERT staff and their unions, which provides Greek citizens with independent, diverse public service programing in all Greek regions including the former ERT 3 TV channel from Thessaloniki.



UNI General Secretary Philip Jennings said “UNI Global Union calls on all those who believe in freedom of speech and the importance of public service media values for democracy to support ERTopen staff who do everything to maintain a truly independent public broadcasting service for Greek citizens and fight for the re-establishment of a reformed, sustainable and independent ERT.”



UNI MEI President, Gerry Morrissey said “This is not an issue of Greece alone. It concerns the entire global public service broadcasting community. Our colleagues and former ERT staff who run ERTopen since the shutdown of ERT on 11 June 2013 deserve our respect and they need our support. They also need the support of the European Broadcasting Union, EBU.”



UNI Global Union and the entire trade union community in the public service broadcasting sector condemns the Greek’s government masquerade pretending to have set-up a new public broadcaster, the so called “NERIT”. NERIT has neither, staff, assets nor does it provides truly public service broadcasting. The government has simply renamed the interim state broadcaster (DT) set-up in September 2013. Under the new logo of NERIT, everything remains the same: it runs minimal programming and the essential public service missions that ERT fulfilled have been dropped. The employees from DT were “carried over” to NERIT. They have no new contracts. There is no proper, transparent recruitment procedure nor any selection criteria. The personnel of NERIT are in effect employees of the Ministry of Finance and remain under the same temporary and renewable 2 months contracts without any social or trade union rights.



After the closure of ERT, the former Minister of Public Service Broadcasting, Mr. Kapsis had announced that the Greek government will build a new public service broadcaster on the basis of the “latest international standards”. But today, one year after the closure of ERT there is not one indication that the Greek government is serious about public service broadcasting.



UNI Europa, Regional Secretary, Oliver Roethig said “It is unacceptable that a pillar of media democracy and cultural diversity in the European audiovisual landscape was forced to close as a response to the EU and Troika’s demands to meet the goals of a failed austerity policy. One year later all promises have been broken. The EU has failed to defend public service values and media democracy.



The source of hope for maintaining and developing public service broadcasting values is ERTopen. UNI Global Union applauds the ERT staff and their unions who – against all odds, enormous pressure and discrimination – have not stopped to provide TV, radio and Internet based services to Greek citizens.



William Maunier, President of EURO-MEI said “The broadcasting staff and unions at ERTopen are defending democracy and public service values. The public service values enshrined in the European Treaty are under attack. The European Commission has made lukewarm statements and done nothing to defend democracy. We urge the newly elected European Parliament that it starts its legislature doing the right thing: inquest this scandal and put pressure on the Greek government.”

Πριν από ένα χρόνο, η ελληνική κυβέρνηση με τη συνενοχή της Τρόικας έκλεισε την ΕΡΤ. Σήμερα είναι και η 1η επέτειος της αντίστασης για την αποδόμηση του δημόσιου ραδιοτηλεοπτικού φορέα της Ελλάδας.

Σήμερα, η Ελλάδα έχει έναν κρατικό ραδιοτηλεοπτικό φορέα την "NEΡIT" που ανήκει στο Υπουργείο Οικονομικών, χωρίς συντακτική αυτονομία. Και υπάρχει ένας πραγματικά δημόσιος ραδιοτηλεοπτικός φορέας: το ERTopen που μαζί με την ΕΡΤ 3, τον ραδιοτηλεοπτικό σταθμό της Θεσσαλονίκης και τους περιφερειακούς σταθμούς λειτουργούν με πρώην υπαλλήλους της ΕΡΤ και των συνδικάτων τους, και παρέχουν στους Έλληνες πολίτες πλήρες, ανεξάρτητο, πλουραλιστικό πρόγραμμα σε κάθε γωνιά της Ελλάδας.

Ο Γενικός Γραμματέας της UNI Philip Jennings δήλωσε: «Η Παγκόσμια Ένωση UNI καλεί όλους όσοι πιστεύουν στην ελευθερία του λόγου και στην καθοριστική σημασία των δημοσίων μέσων ενημέρωσης για τη δημοκρατία να υποστηρίξουν το προσωπικό του ERTopen που κάνουν τα πάντα για να διατηρήσουν έναν πραγματικά ανεξάρτητο φορέα δημόσιας ραδιοτηλεόρασης για τους Έλληνες πολίτες και αγωνίζονται για την επανίδρυση μιας αναμορφωμένης, βιώσιμης και ανεξάρτητης ΕΡΤ. "

Ο Πρόεδρος UNI ΜΕΙ της , Gerry Morrissey δήλωσε: «Αυτό δεν είναι ένα θέμα που αφορά αποκλειστικά την Ελλάδα. Αφορά το σύνολο της παγκόσμιας κοινότητας των δημόσιων ραδιοτηλεοπτικών φορέων. Οι συνάδελφοί μας και πρώην υπάλληλοι της ΕΡΤ που λειτουργούν το ERTopen αμέσως μετά το κλείσιμο της ΕΡΤ στις 11 Ιουνίου 2013 αξίζουν το σεβασμό μας και χρειάζονται την υποστήριξή μας. Χρειάζονται, επίσης, την υποστήριξη της Ευρωπαϊκής Ραδιοτηλεοπτικής Ένωσης, EBU. "

Η Παγκόσμια Ένωση UNI και το σύνολο της κοινότητας των συνδικάτων στον τομέα των δημοσίων ραδιοτηλεοπτικών φορέων καταδικάζουν τη μασκαράτα της ελληνικής κυβέρνησης που προσποιείται ότι έχει δημιουργήσει ένα νέο δημόσιο ραδιοτηλεοπτικό φορέα, τη λεγόμενη «NEΡIT». Η NEΡIT δεν διαθέτει ούτε το προσωπικό, ούτε τα περιουσιακά στοιχεία, ούτε παρέχει υπηρεσίες πραγματικά δημόσιας ραδιοτηλεόρασης. Η κυβέρνηση έχει μετονομαστεί απλώς τον ενδιάμεσο φορέα (ΔΤ) που συνέστησε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2013 Με το νέο λογότυπο της NEΡIT, παραμένει πάντα ο ίδιος. Διαθέτει ελάχιστο πρόγραμμα και δεν καλύπτει τις βασικές υποχρεώσεις της δημόσιας ραδιοτηλεόρασης που πληρούσε η ΕΡΤ. Οι εργαζόμενοι από την ΔΤ «μεταφέρθηκαν» στη NEΡIT. Δεν έχουν νέες συμβάσεις. Δεν υπάρχει σωστή και διαφανής διαδικασία προσλήψεων, ούτε κάποια κριτήρια επιλογής. Το προσωπικό της NEΡIT είναι εργαζόμενοι του Υπουργείου Οικονομικών και παραμένουν υπό το καθεστώς προσωρινών και ανανεούμενων δίμηνων συμβάσεων χωρίς κανένα κοινωνικό ή συνδικαλιστικό δικαίωμα.

Μετά το κλείσιμο της ΕΡΤ, ο πρώην Υπουργός της δημόσιας ραδιοτηλεόρασης, ο κ. Καψής ανακοίνωσε ότι η ελληνική κυβέρνηση θα δημιουργήσει ένα νέο δημόσιο ραδιοτηλεοπτικό φορέα, με βάση τις "τελευταίες διεθνείς προδιαγραφές". Αλλά σήμερα, ένα χρόνο μετά το κλείσιμο της ΕΡΤ δεν υπάρχει η παραμικρή ένδειξη ότι η ελληνική κυβέρνηση σκέπτεται σοβαρά σχετικά με τη δημόσια ραδιοτηλεόραση.

Ο Περιφερειακός Γραμματέας της , UNI Ευρώπης, Oliver Roethig δήλωσε: «Είναι απαράδεκτο το γεγονός ότι ένας από τους πυλώνες της δημοκρατίας των μέσων ενημέρωσης και της πολιτιστικής ποικιλομορφίας στο ευρωπαϊκό οπτικοακουστικό τοπίο αναγκάστηκε να κλείσει ως απάντηση στις απαιτήσεις της ΕΕ και της Τρόικας για την επίτευξη των στόχων μιας αποτυχημένης πολιτικής λιτότητας. Ένα χρόνο αργότερα, όλες οι υποσχέσεις που καταρρεύσει. Η ΕΕ απέτυχε να υπερασπιστεί τις αξίες των δημοσίων μέσων ενημέρωσης και της δημοκρατίας.

Η πηγή ελπίδας για τη διατήρηση και την ανάπτυξη των αξιών της δημόσιας ραδιοτηλεόρασης αποτελεί το ERTopen. Η Παγκόσμια Ένωση UNI επιδοκιμάζει το προσωπικό της ΕΡΤ και των συνδικάτων τους, οι οποίοι - παρά τις αντιξοότητες, τις τεράστιες πιέσεις και τις διακρίσεις - δεν έχουν σταματήσει να παρέχουν υπηρεσίες τηλεόρασης, ραδιοφώνου και διαδικτύου προς τους Έλληνες πολίτες.

Ο William Maunier, Πρόεδρος του EURO-MEI δήλωσε: «Το προσωπικό και συνδικαλιστικές οργανώσεις του ERTopen υπερασπίζονται τη δημοκρατία και τις αξίες της δημόσιας ραδιοτηλεόρασης. Οι αξίες των δημοσίων ραδιοτηλεοπτικών φορέων που κατοχυρώνονται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Συνθήκη πλήττονται. Η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή έχει περιοριστεί σε χλιαρές δηλώσεις και δεν κάνει τίποτα για να υπερασπιστεί τη δημοκρατία. Καλούμε το νεοεκλεγέν Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο που ξεκινά το νομοθετικό του έργο να πράξει το σωστό: Να κάνει ανακρίσεις για αυτό το σκάνδαλο και να ασκήσει πιέσεις στην ελληνική κυβέρνηση "
